what is football life
SP football life is our attempt to update and continue the offline career modes found in the beloved and retired PES series, FL26 is updated for the new season 2025/2026.

this version have a lot of small updates and enhancements and fixes that all add up to a fresh feel of the game, graphics and sound effects, ball physics and gameplay all received updates and upgrades along with enhancements in the core game and launcher.
* update 1.4 is available:
- Game stability enhancements
debugged all new changes and fixed multiple stability issues in various aspects of the game, including fix for career mode crash when player acquire new position, fix for potential crash in career mode Copa America and Libertadores and other fixes and corrections.
- Various updates:
included current database progress and other minor updates.
Installation:
extract and run (SPFL26_140.exe), select FL26 game installation folder.
update notes:
* all fixes from previous updates are included (accumulative) see log
* the update will apply the accompanied dt18 file.
* the update includes option to install the new edit file or keep current.
* career modes started with any FL26 version can resume safely.

General features:
Teams and players
FL26 is updated for season 2025/26, promoted teams has replaced the relegated ones and a new teams selection is included.
see full players/teams list with ID in the database reference pagethe edit mode is fully functional, there are three fully editable teams in the game for user creation (Ceres Negros, Zalgiris Vilnius, Zamora FC), the database is unlocked for the community, however changing bin files might result in serious errors, and will clash with future database updates.
Game updates:
we perform periodic scans of the database for squads and attributes changes and import new players from live database, the game will receive frequent updates depending on the urgency and progress, updates also includes more updated graphics that would be ready by then and any small corrections or enhancements discovered while playing.
the game will show update notification if available upon launching the game.
national squads are updated but still pending the official world cup team list in November.
Future new season upgrades:
this version is built with future seasons upgrade in mind, this will allow to have a full version and an upgrade version in the future.
Addons:
- Commentary v8
FL26 includes the all new English commentary v8, it includes new call names for many players and new commentary dialogues, for other v8 languages see the commentary addon
- Real Faces
the players/staff faces are available as a separate addon due to the large size, it is highly recommended to download and install the new facepack 26-27 as it would add a lot of immersion to the game.
the new facepack is tailor made for FL26 and will receive future updates throughout 2026 and 2027.

36 stadiums installed by default in the game, more stadiums are available per region in the stadiums addon page.

Installation:
1- Extract all the installer files then run (SPFL26_setup.exe)
2- Select a directory (do not install over an existing game)
3- Start Football Life from (FL_2026 start.exe) or desktop shortcut.
