System Requirements - Testing

Test Rigs, Methodology & System Requirements

Football Life is tested across different PC setups to ensure stability, compatibility, and consistent performance.

All tests are made on the public unmodified version of the game, using default GPU settings and standard Windows configurations.

-------------------------------------------

System Requirements:

Minimum Requirements

  • OS: Windows 7 SP1 / 8.1 / 10 (64-bit)

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 / AMD FX 4350

  • RAM: 10 GB

  • GPU: NVIDIA GTX 670 / AMD Radeon HD 7870

  • VRAM: 2 GB

  • DirectX: Version 11.0

  • Storage: 40 GB free space

  • Resolution: 1280×720 minimum

Recommended Requirements

  • OS: Windows 11 (64-bit)

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-9700 / AMD Ryzen 7 3700X

  • RAM: 10 GB or more

  • GPU: NVIDIA GTX 980 / AMD Radeon R9 390X

  • VRAM: 6 GB (10 GB for 4K)

  • DirectX: Version 11.0

  • Storage: 40 GB free space

  • Resolution: 1920×1080 or higher

Note:
For 4K at 120 Hz or higher refresh rates, use DisplayPort cables or certified HDMI 2.1 fiber cables to maintain a stable signal.

Testing Principles

  • Clean public installation (no private or modified files).

  • Default GPU and driver settings (no forced overclock or special profiles).

  • Windows power settings left at default (balanced or high performance as per system).

  • Resolutions tested from 1080p up to 4K.

Recommendations for Best Performance

  • Keep GPU drivers updated: Install the latest stable version (avoid beta or experimental builds).

  • Install the game on an SSD: Greatly reduces loading times and stuttering compared to HDDs.

  • Use default GPU control panel settings: Avoid custom V-Sync, sharpness, or anti-aliasing overrides.

  • Adjust rendering settings if needed: Lower resolution scaling or shadows if your FPS drops.

  • Set the Windows power plan to “High Performance”: Ensures full CPU and GPU boost frequencies.

  • Let Windows manage virtual memory (pagefile): Recommended to avoid memory-related crashes.

  • Run as Administrator: For both the installer and the launcher to ensure proper file access.

  • Verify clean installation: Avoid mixing files from different versions or unofficial sources.

Additional Notes

  • Integrated GPUs can run the game at 1080p using low render settings.

  • Windows 11 is fully supported; Windows 10 remains compatible.
