I've been away for a while, work and other commitments have kept me away, let me catch you up on some of the plans for smokepatch:
Football Life new season version:
Since there's no viable alternative available, the work on a new season version for Football Life has already begun. It's going to be an all-in-one package.
Usually, new season versions are released around September. I might not be able to do or include all the things that I want in that timeframe. so I'll be focusing on specific aspects first and then continue to bring more goodies with subsequent updates.
Stay tuned for more details about the new season version and planned addons; I'll share more information once it's officially announced.
Website structure and comments
the website will soon undergo an update, aimed at significantly improving ease of access to information. I receive many emails and comments that are already addressed in the installation instructions and frequently asked questions (FAQs) or other sub-menus, making the information more visible should save everybody valuable time. The website update will be gradually implemented for a seamless transition.
The comments section will be upgraded, introducing new features that will enhance user experience on the Smokepatch website. Users who send support for smokepatch will be recognized as sponsors, allowing for better interaction and engagement while providing a new way to contribute. The upgrade will also focus on minimizing spam and abuse to maintain a clean a positive community environment. While this enhancement comes with additional costs, I believe it's worth the investment to create a more user-friendly and enjoyable platform for everyone.
smokepatch for retired PES
no updates are planned for retired PES versions beyond the 21/22 season, I will ensure continued accessibility to all archived content on the SP website.
