📢 SP new season content 2026

As we approach the release of the new season content next month, here’s an overview of what’s coming. Please note that delays are possible but not expected.

- Football Life 2026 (expected October 15th)

- Facepack 26/27 (expected around the release of FL26)

- Commentary v8 (expected around the release of FL26)

📢 Contract System Overhaul

Football Life 2026 will include a major fix to one of the longest standing career mode issues: broken or expired contracts caused by outdated internal logic.

📢 Compatibility and future proof

Football Life 2026 will include a new smart game launcher for maximum compatibility.
One launcher for all CPU generations, no more special EXE files for new CPU architecture, including the new Ultra Core CPUs from Intel.

📢 FL26 Expected Teams

Below are the confirmed teams that will be present in FL26 (Season 25/26).
This list is still preliminary, there are extra team slots available, so more teams are expected to be added.

* NEW FACEPACK COMING IN OCTOBER
a new facepack 26/27 will be available in October for FL26.

* this is the final update for this facepack, the pack is two years old now and needs an overhale as many redundant faces are included (players no longer in the database), also there are some scripts that will be applied to the textures for faster load with smaller size, main faces textures will have AI enhancements using AI software, as well as updating the faces as much as possible, the new facepack will take months to achieve, will probably be synced with the new season version.

update 5 available:

- added, updated and fixed faces

- update 4 is required (not included)

To avoid confusion:

1. install the full pack (01_smkdb_fa1.cpk to 01_smkdb_fa6.cpk)

2. install update 4 (01_smkdb_fa7cpk)

3. install update 5 (01_smkdb_fa8.cpk)

* if previous updates already installed then just install update 5
