about editing the database file list (dpfilelist)

The dpfilelist is a .bin file, that contains the list of the archive files in the download folder of the game, this file must not be changed or altered, doing that will cause serious bugs and crashes, this file is created specifically so the patch would work as intended with all of the pre-installed addons.

how to add files to the patch using the extra files HERE

This file defines the archive files by order of priority, the same file might be present in two archive files but one of them will work depending on the file priority.

We create this file with Hexadecimal editor using hex values, when we make addons or updates for the patch we assume that this file is intact and not modified, so if it was changed (or generated) then the order of the files might be changed and this causes a lot of problem for the user, like a crash in the master league or the game not starting at kick-off or other bugs, this is why we always make cautions not to edit it.

However, as many still do generate this file without knowing how it works, so we created the extra slots system, which is adding 16 empty files in the highest priority so the users can add things simply by renaming the file and replacing one of the extra preinstalled files. read more

If a user still prefers using tools or organizing the files on your own (advanced user), then be sure to make backups in case it's needed

Adding other things comes at your own risk. because we do not test the patch with things not done by the team, so if you get errors be sure to test this with an unchanged patch to be sure this problem is with the files or not.

PES 2017: game does not kick off problem

PES 2018 - X20 Scoreboard Switcher

Compatibility:
This add-on is made for smokepatch18 X world cup edition, but it should be compatible with all versions for pes 2018.



Options: this version of the scoreboard switcher have 8 options:

- Default Konami
This will remove all customized scoreboards from the patch, revert it to game default just like previous versions of the patch

- Bein Sports (X20 default)
This is a special scoreboard and replay logo made especially for X20, it is the default scoreboard in the latest patch.

- Bein Sports (world cup)
Approximate scoreboard for the world cup, it still has some rough edges but it works fine.

- Bein Sports (EPL)
England premier league scoreboard and replay logo, with correct colors and styles, edited for best performance.

- Bein Sports (LaLiga)
Spanish La Liga Santander scoreboard, including replay logo

- Canal + (Ligue1)
This is an exact scoreboard for the French Ligue 1

- Sky Calcio (Serie A)
Serie A of Italy scoreboard as shown on sky Calcio TV.

- Sky Sports (Bundesliga)
The scoreboard of the German Bundesliga as presented on sky sports TV

- ESPN (Euro 2016)
this is the scoreboard of the latest FIFA EURO competition as shown on ESPN TV back in 2016

Playing with smoke patch without errors

Installing the patch is simple, run installer then play, When we create the patch we made it as easy as possible for the user to play without the need for any complicated procedure, however, a lot of complaints about crashes or fails to load or other bugs that will happen if you change the patch files that we always say do not change.

How to keep a custom team and edits after updating

There are there fully editable teams available in football life to create your own team or to create a team that is not in the patch, all the teams can be exported and imported too.

Editable Teams:

Zalgiris Vilnius (Europe)

Ceres Negros (Asia)

Zamora FC (Americas)

every update comes with its own updated edit file, so changes made will be overwritten by the update, this tutorial explains how to keep a custom team after the release of a new update, this works with all game versions, although maybe a little different menu in both versions, newer games have more import options.
